What a great 7th Year !!

The 7th Annual Utopia Ranch Rodeo was wonderful. From the tough cowboys, to the great food, to the record crowd, and fun dance........Utopia, Texas was rockin on Sunday, May 24th, 2009 !!

The stock was tough but the cowboys were tougher.

Champion team was Briscoe Ranch represented by Ty Brozowski, Justin Wahlberg, Danny Jo Mitchell, and Charles Zella. They were awarded with trophy saddles and $4,000.

The reserve champion team was M&M Cattle represented by Marty and Cody Rosenquest, Cole Applegate, and Bryan Hammons. They were awarded with Resistol Black Gold Hats and $2,500. Each event also paid $1,000 to first and $500 to second. 14 teams competed: Faulkner Ranch, Bad Company, WC Ranch, Double E Cattle, Cerveza Boys, Telegraph Ranch, Walking C Ranch, Rafter Horseshoe Cattle Co, 4-L Ranch, Indian Canyon, Young Ranch, and 3up 3down, M&M Cattle, and Bristoe Ranch.

The 2010 Utopia Ranch Rodeo is proud to be benefitting the Youth of Texas in agriculture, with a scholarship to be awarded through the Utopia High School.

The 8th Annual Utopia Ranch Rodeo will be held Sunday, May 30, 2010, at 7 pm. Cactus Country Band will perform live immediately following the rodeo.  And, as always, there will be great food served in the concessions. Don't miss what will be our best year yet !!!
