The 8th Annual Utopia Ranch Rodeo was a huge success. The weather was beautiful and over 1000 people enjoyed an exciting evening of tough competition, great food, and dancing. The Youth in Agriculture Scholarship was awarded to Cody Foster and Brady Burns, of Utopia High School. The rodeo was a STRRF Qualifier.

The 2010 Champion team, Double C Ranch, received trophy saddles and won $4,000. Teammembers were Cody Cerny, Cole Applegate, James Fitzgerald, and Dillon Shultz.

2nd Place went to Briscoe Ranch who won Black Gold Resistol Hats and $3,000 overrall. WC Ranch won 3rd.

The bronc riding champion was Dakota Holmes of Telegraph Ranch with an 87 pt ride. Top Horse went to Trevor of Wexford Ranch. Best Dressed Team was Faulkner Ranch.

The cowboys were all talented and tough. The comraderie and spirit of the night was wonderful and everyone had fun. Cody Sosebee, the clown act, was a show stopper.....Elvis was in the house !!! Bull Poker was another added treat for the crowd. Lou Waters Jr. of Houston was the last man at the table and won the $500 prize. He donated it back for next year's scholarships.
