Here’s a nice brown filly that is turning roan or grey (see photo below). Her sire is our big grey stallion, Colonel C Iron Eagle, that has exceptionally strong bones, a relaxed disposition, and good Colonel Freckles blood close up in his pedigree. Her dam is beautiful black mare Law Man’s Reata, a ranch-type mare with good handle, that became Kristy’s #1 polo horse because of her speed going back three generations to Three Bars. Ropers and Ranch Horse Versatility like some speed in their horses, and barrel races appreciate a good disposition and easy handle, so this combination is very desirable. White hairs are popping out all over her body, indicating that she is turning roan or even grey.
