Congratulations to Hejl Ranch from Navasota, 2019 Utopia Ranch Rodeo Champions!

The 2019 17th annual Utopia Ranch Rodeo was a huge success. Record crowds came to the Utopia Park on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend to enjoy the show. Our announcer, Rob Smets, did an incredible job of paying tribute to our veterans. It was a beautiful evening under the stars with great entertainment, fabulous food by Bear’s Market, and a great dance to Cactus Country Band.

Champion Team: Hejl Ranch from Navasota. Joe Hejl, Forrest Fisher, Heath Kocurek, and Kolbie Toppie.

Reserve Champs were Cucaracha Cattle Co led by Tanner Green, Ben Schoefner, Austin Elliot, and Cutter McClain.

Top Hand, in Memory of Jim Lott, was awarded to Tanner Green.

Top Horse went to a mare ridden by Chance Koenning

Hard Luck Award, in memory of TBone Couch, was awarded to the Young Guns.
