Here’s a friendly, tranquil colt that probably doesn’t realize what a dynamic cowhorse he is destined to be. Filled to the brim with champion genes and a powerfully musculed yet refined body, he is an intelligent quick learner and a natural athlete that knows where to put his feet when he moves or how to stand squared up. His dam produced a mare that has carried Rylie Smith to numerous wins in Women’s Pro Rodeo, including 2022 Women’s Rodeo World Champion in Challenger Heading and Res. Champion All-Around Cowgirl. Plus she has produced a colt that carried Craig Miller to a money win in the 2024 San Antonio Rodeo Southland Incentive Roping and a beautiful palomino filly that carries Izzie Thompkins to barrel racing wins in various youth rodeos. One of her colts sold for $21,000 as a 2-yr-old in the Cal Poly sale of horses trained by students. In this colt’s bloodlines are 3 NCHA Futurity Champions --Colonel Freckles, Doc O’Lena and Miss Ginger Dee--plus the amazing cornerstone of the reining industry Hollywood Dun It twice. His maternal granddam is one of our favorites--Colonel Sassy Frass that produced a 3-time World Champion in heading, an Argentine Reining FuturityNon Pro Res. Champion, and a top PRCA tie-down horse. We named this colt after Robert (Bobby) Duvall who rode his sire Wild Card Dun It in the movie “Seven Days in Utopia.” Remember that he is eligible for the Gold Buckle Futurities, Southland Incentive in the San Antonio Rodeo, TQHA Roping Division incentives, and AQHA Ranching Heritage incentives, plus the PRCA where we feel he is destined to go.
